TANGIBLY SUSTAINABLE

According to the US Environmental Protection Agency, less than 10% of plastic is actually recycled and the rest piles up in landfills and oceans. This is why Ecologic Brands emphasizes reducing plastic material at the source.

On the other hand, around 90% of fiber-based paper products are recycled. Why not use paper, a renewable, compostable, and easily recyclable material?

Ecologic Brands never fuses or binds materials together in our manufacturing process so that recyclability of paper bottles can be maximized. Traditional packaging like juice and milk cartons are made of laminated layers that make recycling difficult and expensive.

HOW IT'S MADE

Molded Fiber Bottle Forming Station

MOLDED FIBER

Ecologic Brands utilizes world class molded fiber technology to produce paper bottle shells sturdy enough to withstand the roughest supply chains.

Recycled cardboard and old newspaper are pulped into a slurry mix in a giant vat that is then transferred to a forming station, which applies tremendous heat and pressure on to tooling cavities that form paper bottle shells.

PCR Liner Eco Bottle Forming Station

LINER

Even though we are known as experts of recycled fiber, just as much effort has been poured into innovation around the types of polymers/plastics used in the liners.

Ecologic Brands uses custom equipment to produce thin, lightweight, collapsible liners that act as the perfect partner to molded fiber shells. The liner is customizable and can include post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics and/or new bioplastics.

Eco Bottle Assembly Station

INTEGRATION

A critical step to producing an eco.bottle® is assembly. Molded fiber shells and plastic liners are sent through a proprietary integration machine that locks the components together, forming a functional and sturdy container ready for filling and shipping.

Our paper bottles have been rigorously performance tested to meet moisture resistance, top load, torque, and ISTA requirements.

USA MADE → GLOBAL REACH

Manufacturing processes are carefully controlled in our facilities located in Manteca, California.

For brands with a global footprint, partners in Canada, Asia, and Europe with Ecologic Brands equipment are ready to support.

TURNING WASTE INTO VALUE

Box to Bottle™ – a closed loop business and manufacturing model

Ecologic Brands wants to deliver sustainability at a lower cost, in an optimized supply chain. Our proprietary process shows that waste material, like used boxes, can be repurposed immediately into value-added paper bottles. This business model is an exciting opportunity for more of our customers and partners to engage in, driving towards a beneficial triple bottom line for all stakeholders involved.
